Review of the 2009 Lions Tour to South Africa

Well, it is now a month since the tour and I refrained from penning this article until I was sure that I had fully recovered from the disappointment of losing a test series that the Lions should have won fairly comfortably.

Ian McGeechan is sure to be busy this weekend mulling over his selection options for the tour. He is due to announce his 35 man squad in just 12 days time on the 21st April. There are a number of positions where selection is probably pretty much assured already, but for others we’re sure the door is still wide open for last minute changes
