Official Lions Packages Released at Increased Prices

This morning British Lions Limited released the first set of officially licensed British and Irish Lions tour packages for the UK and Ireland market at markedly increased prices compared to the previous tour.

The basic three test tour packages start from £8,349 per person based on two sharing, with prices for a bells and whistles three test tour reaching up to £23,849 per person.  Flight and ticket only options start from £2,999 per person.

These prices reflect a significant increase on costs from the 2013 British & Irish Lions tour to Australia where Lions fans were asked to pay £6,399 for an equivalent three test tour package, and £2,199 for a flight and ticket only package.

British and Irish Lions chief operating officer Charlie McEwen commented “There is nothing like a Lions tour, they are the pinnacle for any player – and for the fans who come together once every four years under this one banner.”
